Bike, Pollution & Planting Trees..

Recently I bought the bike TVS WeGo, since I love the nature from my childhood days; It was always hurting me that you are making pollution by buying the Bike. But buying the bike was very economical to me; I can save 500rs/m. So I bought it. And I was happy

But that guilt was there always with me.

Bangalore has got good transport system and had got lot of award for it. When BMTC introduced Volvo from vijayanagar to ITPL for 1st 30 to 45 days almost 2-5 persons was there on the bus. In that I was also one of them. I was paying 25rs from katriguppe to jayanagar 9th blook. Normal bus will take me for 7rs. Days are gone, fairs reduced; the Volvo has become the most popular transport system for the people. I was happy to travel in Volvo, whenever I get the chance I started using it. And it was quite comfortable to me. Since I stay near Depo, at any time I use to get the Volvo.


But one day suddenly I thought of buying the bike decided to buy the new model. And I wanted to buy Indian brand. I searched lot but I didn’t find good looking bike.


Days over and finally I found my bike. That is TVS WeGo. I liked it and removed my entire previous selection list. On one good day I bought the bike. I was so excited and happy. Saved some money and travelled comfortably all over.


But the earlier question was remained unanswered. It used to popup; sometime in the month.


One day I was just reading some ones blog and while reading that I got little idea(not from that blog), I opened new TAB on my IE, opened previously saved site from bookmarks. I always add the sites if I feel this site are useful in any time of my life and I will put them in proper folder in bookmark.


I had gone through several times but I didn’t get this idea earlier. So again I gone through all the pages whether I can trust them or not; and how secure is it to make the payment and all. And I found this site is worth to invest. I got that proper site they are doing what I was dreaming.

The idea is to donate/plant the trees; to resolve my personal conflict.

I decided that every 6 month I will donate 10 trees. And I added the calendar for that after creating the site login. And I have donated the 10 trees. Each tree donation will cost you 50rs.
After donating you will get the certificate.


While doing the process, I thought I have not given any thing to my sister, on her marriage; I thought this is the good idea. I decided to gift 20 trees for her marriage. And I am so happy that I have given something worthy, after the gift they will send the greeting card (certificate- you can get the screenshot on their website) by email and they will utilize money for planting the trees.


Same way I added birthdays of my friends and some special occasion. And it will send the reminder to me on my mail to start the process.


I am happy, that I have taken small step to make this earth greener. And
I believe that, small steps can make the big deference.

Note: If you know any one; they do as this people do or like that. Please let me know the details. Currently as per there website(grow-tree) they are not operating in Karnataka, so i am looking for someone/organization which does the same thing in proper stretcher.
